Chris Schiffer

Originally from Brooklyn, I grew up with a love for all sports, specifically baseball and boxing. The pursuit of these sports as an undersized youth led me to develop a passion and dedication to diet and hard work in the gym. These ethics helped sustain a 20+ year career in competitive athletics. I then began to establish a career in the NYC hospitality industry for the next decade. After much soul searching, I then decided to chase a dream of a career in the fitness industry. I am, above all, a very proud father and consider making my son proud of me as the largest motivation for this change in career to chase my dream. I also consider the chance to help others reach goals they had at one point maybe considered unattainable as an enormous motivating factor as well.

I am a NASM certified trainer and am currently continuing my education in the fitness field. I consider my approach to training more of the old school “iron sharpens iron”/ “steak & potatoes” variety. I believe discomfort can force the quickest route to growth and I would name David Goggins as my main influence in the industry.
