Lukas Pusinskas

I’ve been involved in sports since I was 5 years old. The main sport has always been soccer, but also have been enjoying skiing, basketball, tennis and mostly fitness!  At the age of 13, I joined a National Soccer Academy for Lithuania. At the age of 15, I signed my first professional soccer contract in Lithuania before moving to the United States in 2016.

My sophomore year in high school, I moved to Florida from Lithuania and joined Seacrest Country Day School. Played soccer there for 3 years. Outside of high school, I played for a travel team as well. At the end of junior year in high school, I learned that to be successful and consistent on the field I need to work on my body and nutrition. Therefore, I started to read about nutrition and practice strength training.

Upon graduating high school, I committed to play collegiate soccer at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. Eventually, I realized that the school itself was not for me, therefore I decided to sacrifice my soccer career in order to get a better education. After one year, I transferred to Florida Gulf Coast University. I am still at FGCU up to this day, currently a sophomore. I want to major in a field that is related with business and sports.

To this day, my goal is to seek more knowledge about nutrition and fitness every day, and apply it to practice! Most importantly, become the best version of myself and help others to do the same!
